I think they're unnatural and unnecessary in most cases. I remember the study from Chile or somewhere that doctors got more money for them so they overperformed.

I was 100% against it. Now, I'm 100% for it. I even called my wife's OBGYN a "cutter" for pushing for it at first, he's delivered 4 of my kids through CS, and ended up one of my best buds. finding a good doctor that has a good rating for recovery time is essential. You can practically choose the birthdate, get in and out in one day. Pussy isn't busted beyond repair...

Holy fuck he got you for four! No wonder he's your bud...

Ah, just the way God intended it.

Hey, if it was good enough for Caesar it should be good enough for us. /s

The bible doesn't say anything about assisted childbirth or that a natural childbirth is preferential. Assuming you are talking about the judeo/Christian faith. Cesarian Sections have been used since the 1500's to save the mother and/or child's life. In modern times it's a very common and has a near 100% recover rate.

I don't presume to speak to God's intentions, but a successful procedure that ends in the birth of a new soul seems like a positive.

The Bible doesn't say a lot of things specifically, but at any rate I lean towards natural childbirth. Doesn't natural make sense? The way God intended? The way it's always been?

Yeah, some advances in medicine are great, but C-Sections not so much (well in some cases yes).

C-Sections are major surgery, and it takes a while for recovery, very uncomfortable waiting to heal.

I do know people who have C-Sections exclusively, afraid of the pain of natural childbirth. Whatever.

"Caesarian Sections have been used since the 1500's to save the mother and/or child's life." Really? That doesn't sound right.

"In modern times it's very common." Yeah it is. There's arguments of course for natural, benefits.
