I think they're unnatural and unnecessary in most cases. I remember the study from Chile or somewhere that doctors got more money for them so they overperformed.

(((doctors))) got more shekels for them so they overperformed.

Ding ding ding!

I would not be here or my Mum would not be, if not for them.

Is that what the (((doctors))) claimed?

With our fourth, we went to the hospital because the midwife canceled lol.

Sure enough, they got tired of waiting (the doc) and said, yeah the baby's kinda turned kinda weird in there so we just decided to go ahead and blah blah, cut her open blah blah.

This was at a teaching hospital so there you go (and even I got to watch, what a bloody mess).

At times they are probably necessary, but way overperformed I'm sure.

Doctor's pressure women to have them. Weak pathetic women go for them.

I think it robs women of a very important thing. Actually going through pain for their child's birth. Creates a strong bond. It's like they had one chance to go through physical pain for their child, and they lost that chance forever.

Also once a woman goes through natural birth once the rest are easy. So they aren't relieving themselves of the pain, just pushing it down the road.

Also C-sections are linked with the pain killers they load women with that almost certainly reduce the IQ of the child. A women on pain killers doesn't put enough effort in most of the time. Leading to more likely just pressured to c-section.

Yes, and there's more. Go natural.

Go natural.

And not in a hospital, if you can. Get midwives or however they do it.

[–] 1 pt

That's the way, for the most part, we went, and now my kids are doing the same.

They should only be used in emergencies, not planning out a date when you show up to the hospital and they rip a baby out of the belly.

I was 100% against it. Now, I'm 100% for it. I even called my wife's OBGYN a "cutter" for pushing for it at first, he's delivered 4 of my kids through CS, and ended up one of my best buds. finding a good doctor that has a good rating for recovery time is essential. You can practically choose the birthdate, get in and out in one day. Pussy isn't busted beyond repair...

[–] 1 pt

Holy fuck he got you for four! No wonder he's your bud...

[–] 1 pt

Ah, just the way God intended it.

Hey, if it was good enough for Caesar it should be good enough for us. /s

The bible doesn't say anything about assisted childbirth or that a natural childbirth is preferential. Assuming you are talking about the judeo/Christian faith. Cesarian Sections have been used since the 1500's to save the mother and/or child's life. In modern times it's a very common and has a near 100% recover rate.

I don't presume to speak to God's intentions, but a successful procedure that ends in the birth of a new soul seems like a positive.

vs. your literal nigger level thinking fag opinon.

The Bible doesn't say a lot of things specifically, but at any rate I lean towards natural childbirth. Doesn't natural make sense? The way God intended? The way it's always been?

Yeah, some advances in medicine are great, but C-Sections not so much (well in some cases yes).

C-Sections are major surgery, and it takes a while for recovery, very uncomfortable waiting to heal.

I do know people who have C-Sections exclusively, afraid of the pain of natural childbirth. Whatever.

"Caesarian Sections have been used since the 1500's to save the mother and/or child's life." Really? That doesn't sound right.

"In modern times it's very common." Yeah it is. There's arguments of course for natural, benefits.

You mean me?

Are you against breastfeeding too?

I was born via c-section, not a money grab, just a big baby. The cutting of the abdominal wall was awful for my mother. Vaginal birth is preferable if possible.

Had some friends their baby was turned the wrong direction for breach. They went to a half dozen naturopath midwives to try to get their baby turned. They ended up having to go C section otherwise their baby was coming out feet first.

Babies don’t receive the gut flora from their mother’s poop shoot on the way out, meaning your kids will have digestive issues

[–] 1 pt

I'm pretty sure you are mixing that up, babies don't receive skin flora from c-section my sister and I both have identical gut problems but that's because of childhood antibiotics, I have certain skin problems because I was born via C-section and she doesn't have those problems.

And my C-Section kid has plenty. Not the others.

[–] 1 pt

My 1st one was necessary it was an emergency. My 2nd one was forced by my insurance. It's not natural at all and many babies have issues with their eyes after being born. There is reasons the baby needs to travel through the birth canal.

Sometimes necessary.
