In 2008 a Catholic priest named Father Adelir Antonio, 51, attempted to publicize his plans to build a spiritual rest stop for truckers. He imitated Lawn Chair Larry, who had attached 45 weather balloons to his lawn chair and took off flying over Los Angeles. He carried a sat phone, parachute and GPS. He was pushed out over the Atlantic and then realized he didn't know how to use the GPS. He called for help but they couldn't locate him. He was lost forever.
