Questions we all ask. I think I'd rather go north than south. Too many poisonous things down south in Mexico/South America. I guess if I had some lifestraws and Berkey filtration I could manage the rest if I had my foraging books and my books on natural antibiotics. Also a firestarter that will last a long time. As a nurse I know I can go much longer w/out food than water and I know how to fish, make traps, use deadfalls, etc. Hygiene will be my hell. I hate being dirty/stinky/unwashed and if shtf lots of the niceties will be gone.
