When these modern "nike style sneakers" by nike actually first came out they were actually high quality shoes, despite being that annoying nike style sneaker. They were kind of a "crocs" of the 90s.

After nike came out with them, then cheap knock off look alikes came out from all brands. Then nike obviously started using the cheap knockoff material so they all looked the same. Now EVERY SINGLE SHOE IN EXISTENCE FOR SALE are these shitty nike style shoes. WHAT THE F IS GOING ON.

I still like the high end American made work boots Redwing, or White. Exercise: New Balance makes some good American made walking and running shoes. Casual: Aurora Shoe Co makes a good loafer. Dress: get yourself a pair or two of custom-made shoes/boots Caboots is great at a fair price. And if your a hippy Earth Runner sandals

Right now I'm ordering a lot of rockport shoes online because I like leather shoes and sandals. I spent now two days looking through all the nearby stores and 90% were 100% sneaker stock. I eventually found a rockport shoe and size that fit. I'm having trouble finding a sandal though that doesn't pinch the foot.
