I went from auto mechanic to computers in mid 30s. So no late in life experience. It was rough then.
Skilled trades are still in high demand and the jobs can be trained for in months instead of years. But are you really ready to start as an apprentice or other low rung guy?
Mike Rowe wasnt wrong. lots of jobs can be had just for dependable and hard working. The problem is many do not pay very well.
