Do you guys know any recipes to put in a spray bottle to help cool down?

My current recipe is:

1:1 Distilled Water + Wotch Hazel + x drops of food grade peppermint oil.

The peppermint oil smells nice and I believe it’s somewhat of an insect repellent.

Do you folks use anything? I remember when I played sports we used to cool down with buckets of ice water with something called “Florida water” in it but I don’t think that goes with my spray bottle idea.

Wet bandana worn as a headband or around the neck is what I used to keep cool during some really how summers.

If you have a hat and are near a watersource just fill it with water and slap it on your head to cool off.

Any additives in water have potential to attract bugs or irritate your skin or eyes.

Also make sure to eat plenty of salt and maybe take potassium supplement.
