An old trick my 97 year old ex-neighbor told me about years ago. Put a few ice cubes (and a splash of water if you are in a hurry) in a sandwich sized ziplock baggie, place it on top of your head and wear a baseball cap over it. It really cools you down and lasts about a half hour per refill. I hate hot humid weather, this trick made me much more comfortable so I could actually get shit done in the heat.
Never heard of cool-down spray before. Interesting idea.
I get very annoyed in the hot months. Extremely uncomfortable. And I also am the most powerful mosquito magnet in existence. And whatever flying biting bugs are out there. I’m instantly and constantly bitten and itching from spring to winter.
The spray helps me a lot.
Any type of alcohol will assist because of its rapid evaporation. This provides for a physical cooling effect. Menthol tricks the skin into feeling cooler.
That sounds about right. Thanks!
Wet bandana worn as a headband or around the neck is what I used to keep cool during some really how summers.
If you have a hat and are near a watersource just fill it with water and slap it on your head to cool off.
Any additives in water have potential to attract bugs or irritate your skin or eyes.
Also make sure to eat plenty of salt and maybe take potassium supplement.
Carburator cleaner works well because it evaporates fast and does not leave a residue.
I’ll take this into consideration.

This stuff the japs have is crazy.
That’s interesting. The way it can stay put on your forehead seems super useful.
I know I want it, I would make a neck thing and a forehead thing for sure, the summers here are brutal but our dogs don't care. Unfortunately I haven't found anything that's really the same in the US.
Wet clothes, hair, and a fan.
I'm with this most often.
