Old drinkers develop a tolerance so they pour like they do in the movies. They are far beyond normal measuring. Lol

Yep. At least while you can keep up. I remember back when I bartended being gobsmacked when I became aware of my heightened tolerance. Realizing you couldn't afford go drinking anywhere that you weren't friends with the bartender was sobering.
Apparently this guy. Either that or he's got arthritic fingers because he's old as dirt and one finger of his is equal to two of mine. That's probably what it really is. But I did hold up my finger to show him what I was thinking about.

Yeah who knows. I think his wife jumped the gun when she just Auto invited us back to her place to have some cocktails and look at pictures of my mother. My mom is sick and I was down visiting with her and my father. And her best friend from her youth lives in the same town. And I asked her if she had any stories of my mom when she was a young woman. She kind of blurted out a couple of things but nothing really of any meaning. I said keep all your hijinks to yourself and just tell me about just who she was. That just got me invited back to her house and the previously set events.
