'im only 21, but that sounds very inappropriate... But I've never worked for a large corporation.' Guess the only thing I like is their dislike of large corporations.

No. It was a very poorly choreographed scene in what looked like a 90s dollar store. Some dude dressed like the sketches of the Unibomber walks in with a huge duffle bag that has a shotgun in it. Then it switches to the 3 "Survival" tactics. Run, Hide, or "Last Resort" of fighting back. At the end, the store told us that fighting back is not advised and may end our career with the company if we do so. I made a comment that they'd rather we die than defend ourselves. The HR manager didn't like me so much

Run -hide. Yep Totally. But Last thing i would ever consider is 'sheltering in place' in the same building/ school/ business with an active shooter looking for targets - i'm out of there by all means necessary.
