if youre serious about having beez, i have another share for you id like you to have.
the basic idea for this is that after about a year of the beez living in your log hive. the honey will drip down with the help of gravity, and so, you will not need to gaz the beez in order to retrieve the honey. it will be natural. and in accordance with nature.
this guy shuts the hole up though, which is stupid. but he probably thinks he knows. who knows, i dont. but yeah a hole is needed, and a container, in order to never disturb the bees.

thats going to be a fun watch! sounds like you can get massive hives without enormous disease riddled bee house boxes. those bee boxes i see on farms seem like they are hard to maintain, and sometimes the bees just leave. i bet they wouldnt if they had an enormous log
