I think the biggest issue that causes these issues is a general lack of knowledge from the parishioners as a whole. I've lived on the west coast for well over 20 years (closer to 30 actually), and I can count on one hand how many people I met who had actually sat down and read the GOSPELS much less the entire bible. When you're spoon fed doctrine, it's easy to be lead astray. I've long believed that organized christian sects as a whole are untrustworthy. This isn't a Catholic v Christian debate. Every sect of Christian religion is fucked due to religious dogma that, again, comes from a general lack of understanding from the parishioners as a whole.
I'll give two examples. The first is an argument that is used ALL the time for helping refugees. The story of the good Samaritan. On it's face, it's easy to twist it into a tale where the "good follower of Jesus" will sacrifice everything to help their fellow man. But if you literally read it with a critical eye, you instantly see two very important details. First: At no point does the Samaritan take him back to his own home. He takes the battered man to a local inn for care. Second is he does not pay for EVERYTHING the man needs to exist. He pays the inn owner to care and nurse him to health, and nothing more. The story is about compassion, not unending charity.
The second, I will call out a Christian branch by name. Baptists, as a whole, insist that without baptism, you cannot be saved. End of story. This is not only false, but a twisting of scripture. Jesus does call for man to be baptized. But it is a symbol of their faith in Jesus that they would follow his instruction. No where is it written that without Baptism, you are not saved. Quite the contrary actually. When dying on the cross, Jesus tells the thief, who obviously had never taken the dip, that he would be with him in Paradise that same day. Overall, it's a minor thing to the overall scheme of things since most believers will get baptized anyway, but it's just one example of dogma that permeates most branches and begins to override biblical truth that could be known if someone would just read their bible.
Another part of the Samaritan that is NEVER highlighted, or very casually brushed off, is that the Samaritan helped the man on the side of the road despite other people NOT helping. Somehow, kikes equate this to freeloading assholes jumping the fence fucking over whitey to be the same thing.
Another one that annoys me to no end is Ephesians 4:29. Baptists have forever assured me it includes swearing and a host of other communication that clearly is not mentioned. When one reads the scriptures, one can very clearly see it has nothing to do with swearing. It has a lot to do with the outlook of the convictions of your heart and mind towards other people. Hence the part of the scripture that states "dictated by corruption in the heart of the speaker". The swearing part isn't even possible anyways, since a "slur" is specific to the country, language, region, etc, how would one keep track of what is and is not a slur?! Would I break 4:29 if i used the word gay 200 years ago when it meant happy, simply because it means something else now?
For example if i call a gay guy being gay, to be a gay is that also now breaking the rule? Some Christian groups in NYC seem to think so which is insane to me. How is calling a reality of something being in a state a sin?! That makes no sense at all ....
Have to agree baptism is for the born again when a man of sin renounced his atrocious life and begins anew in Jesus word. Far to many want to believe in propaganda. The stories in Bible olare teach us not make us live in falsehood but the kikes have infiltrated most churches today even catholic and probably Muslims too. Honestly I think they have lied there way into power of most churches and now teach niggerdom and Satanism in a friendly way to confuse and indoctrinate the minds of many as the Bible said would happen.
One important thing to remember is Jesus said the word of God will never be destroyed. There are, of course, perverse bibles that bend and twist and outright rewrite scriptures. However most modern bibles today get the gospel message and Jesus teaching across very clearly. I'm not bashing KJV only crowd at all. But the literary difference in the translation of a properly translated bible is minimal and does not affect the message or salvation
