Is it possible that could be true while Hitler was not genetically related? I like the Hitler is a good guy and jews are bad news narrative, but given how ww2 came to an end I was a bit sus at how things could have ended so poorly. At the very least he should have purged his cabinet (if that's what it's called) and the people closest to him that had any Jewish blood. Guderian, a very intelligent, well spoken warlord for the German army, reported in his journal how Hitler had Jews of mixed German blood working closely with him as advisors and as fellow warlords and strategists. The Russian invasion wasn't the original plan, they had switched targets and that almost by itself cost them the war. When guderian brought up his concerns over the years to Hitler, Hitler would tell him he was one of his most trustworthy subjects. Guderian led the troops on the battlefield and didn't have a lot of say in the overall strategy but he did politely name the Jews in his journal of I remember right. It's a good read, I need to go through his journal again, I'm forgetting stuff
