Interesting thank you for your reply. You brought up some points a friend of mine brought up and it was partially responsible for making this ask post. I always am suspicious of hero worship. It can be blinding. Well... WW2 just became much harder to talk about. I think I'm going to have to sew my lips shut and become a mute so I don't keep losing face with my family. I am not articulate enough for this topic
