Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I might also include new settings to manually set these colors for day/grey/dark mode in user's preferences.

Those of you who will provide the best color set will even get a special badge!

If some of you who know how to live edit website's source code in their browsers and are using Bionic Reading can let me know what color values (bold and regular) they would prefer for the text in grey and dark mode. In DM and without changing the regular color (white) on default css, here's a few that may work...

Edit: BTW, I've only just switched BR on and the default white bold/regular works well for me at present.

For anyone wanting to try some colors in Firefox: select some of the bold at the beginning of a word, right-click and Inspect Element. Then in the developer pane at the bottom under This Element in the bold section, click after bolder; and press return/enter to make a new line. Then type color: #fff and enter. Then click the little circle to the left of # to open a color editor. It updates the page live as you draw the color selector around. Don't use the lower slider, which controls transparency (but might seem to be the brightness of the color).
