The current user blocking system prevents a user from sending you private messages or pinging you on posts. It also prevents you from being notified when they respond to a post or comment.
OK but how do you block a user?
Easiest way is from your private message inbox. There is a block button there.
There's a button that says "blocked users" as in those already blocked. Can't see one that says "block user" ? So it appears you can only block someone if they send you a pm.
Figured it out - you have to go into comment/ post replies and do it from there
Good news, I just saw this I’ve never needed it before and I was trying to respond from memory.
Well I wasn't expecting to use it so soon here, but raising awareness about the white genocide in South Africa always attracts trolling (I've even had death threats over it). Plus some of the trash has blown across from that other place; trolls will actually follow you around when you post about controversial matters.
