Desantis is their guy. They were pumping him up 2 years + prior to 2022. Putting out his numbers against Trump for 2024 in 2020 and 2021. People like me and many others slammed the bell off the wall for at least a year and a half, it got us Desantis's polling in the shitter before he announced to run. If Desantis had not had a small contingent attacking him ruthlessly in 2021 he would have already had polling numbers above Trump before he announced and we'd be in a different world right now. He is still their guy though. The elections are still rigged the same way they ever were and they literally will still fake a whole pandemic if need be to rig an election. Trump endorsed mother fucking McCarthy. While Matt Gaetz had a real push that put them in shrieking the fuck out mode that could have put the house leaderless or force repubs to vote for a dem speaker thus killing the republican party. Trump's endorsement could have made an actual change there. But he buckled under uniparty. He shills (under capitulation) for the repubs.
