I'm staying at my father's house for a little bit and he likes to feed the finches. But Finch food is $15 for a 7 lb bag. It's a complete rip-off. To me it just looks like there's sunflower seeds in there that are kind of shredded. I wonder if I could just get a big thing of sunflower seeds and put them in a blender and let the blender just puree the stuff. That's probably not how it works however? For any of you lads and lasses that feed your finches what do you do to get around the cartel prices?

Right now, until the 31st, Ace has on sale, 2 20 pound bags of generic bird seed for $20. I have several different types of Finch's around here, they all eat it. Sale ends tomorrow. $10 bucks for 20 pounds is pretty good.

I'll have to call them and ask. Dang, I wish I had sent this post earlier because I was just down the road from Ace today buying mulch.
