Awesome reply. I'd never heard of him nor seen that movie. I have it added. I'm thinking that maybe a movie my dad would be into as well and maybe he's even seen it. I'm going to put it on a thumb drive and bring it over to him. Maybe we'll watch together.
If you do both watch it, I hope you both enjoy it whether he had seen it years ago or not. I think a lot of aspects of the story hit very close to home for many of us.

My parents will often name the actors in old films that they watch on tv, which helps at keeping their memories sharp. Sometimes they struggle with the name and will run through other movies the actor was in and who else was in those other movies with them. Eventually one of them remembers.
I try to help them keep their brains working and sort of 'quiz' them sometimes with a movie plot or with an actor in a movie, but only give the first letter as a hint if they really struggle. It seems to help them at least a little bit by regularly giving their memory a workout.
