Glad that his memory is still working great!
My parents will often name the actors in old films that they watch on tv, which helps at keeping their memories sharp. Sometimes they struggle with the name and will run through other movies the actor was in and who else was in those other movies with them. Eventually one of them remembers.
I try to help them keep their brains working and sort of 'quiz' them sometimes with a movie plot or with an actor in a movie, but only give the first letter as a hint if they really struggle. It seems to help them at least a little bit by regularly giving their memory a workout.
Brother, I couldn’t begin to explain how my dad’s brain works. I mean as far as his memory goes. He loses everything all the time yet will still remember the strangest things. Putting things back together is a huge challenge for him, but then he can watch a movie or something on tv and quote stuff verbatim the next day.
And oh Lord, let me forget to bring one of his favorite food containers back to him. He will never forget that I have one. Lol.
