I think i'm typical to most guys, but I won't speak for all of them. It's one of the benefits of the traditional man/woman dynamic. If I was living solo, they place would be functional, but not immaculate, balanced, or "nice". With a woman taking care of that aspect of the relationship, they put time into balancing the energy of a space, tidying, decorating, etc. I don't have the eye for it myself, but I appreciate it when it's been done for me. To specifically answer your question, it looks rich AF on the outside, but on the inside it's just "nice". Decorations/furniture are nice, but we have young kids, so it's well lived in (toys/study material/etc).
