I think i'm typical to most guys, but I won't speak for all of them.

It's one of the benefits of the traditional man/woman dynamic. If I was living solo, they place would be functional, but not immaculate, balanced, or "nice". With a woman taking care of that aspect of the relationship, they put time into balancing the energy of a space, tidying, decorating, etc. I don't have the eye for it myself, but I appreciate it when it's been done for me.

To specifically answer your question, it looks rich AF on the outside, but on the inside it's just "nice". Decorations/furniture are nice, but we have young kids, so it's well lived in (toys/study material/etc).

With some sort of linear scale. Probably 0-10 to be conventional about it. But I suppose you could do something like 0 to Pi radians with Pi being best (right, because who doesn't like pie).

Cluttered with more clutter sprinkled off with a litttle extra clutter... Nothing like a sensational day in fall and leaves are everywhere and you rake out a little patch and leave the rest rot... That's what I'm rate this, probably 4.

Good, but could be better. I need to knock down some cobwebs, fold some laundry, and finish the trim around a post.

My house is very eclectic. I have a lifetime of antiques, art glass, paintings, and totally random stuff arranged in a way that "flows"... I guess. It's comfy, and a good representation of my interests and aesthetics.
