It's easy - in nature only the weak and incompetent hunter hunts baby animals due to inability to hunt larger prey.

You must come from a lineage of weak hunters and therefore you tastebuds have genetically adapted to prefer lamb meat. You should try eating rats, I think you might like them.

Its pretty good. I have never had the pleasure but from what I hear the absolute best red meat is whale, supposed be like cow steak but much better.

Would make sense why they are so hunted, along with many useable parts. Go read some reviews, I might try to take a trip to Iceland to try it someday. As far as I know you can get it at resturants there.
