Yep. Don't invade anyone until the Germans negotiate a decision. Then if it fails they invade Poland and France and England.
Next big mistake was invading the Soviets.
With 20/20 hindsight the mistake Nazi Germany made was that they needed to put absolutely all resources into developing nukes first.
Hitler said in a speech to his generals after tue 5 year non-agression pact with Stalin that he would not make Napoleons mistake and invade Russia in the fall. He was then convinced by the Weimar generals (Reichswehr). That they could take Moscow before winter. The generals convinced him to attack because they feared the pace of military buildup and the American equipment flooding into Russia. They thought they could take Moscow while the Soviets were weak. They were wrong. The Commies didn't defeat the Germans, the weather was their greatest enemy.
