I'm not a royal watcher nor do I know very much about UK's traditions, but I have heard Charles speak at the WEF and he loves nature, the earth, the wildlife, etc. etc. Yes, he is one of them ..............

I sat with my aged mother yesterday on a lazy Sunday morning after church. There were portions of the Coronation on one of the stations and we shared that time between Mother and Son. My mom is 89 and time is slipping away.

I had heard that Charles was going to do things differently; however, I had a feeling of unsettled dread after watching it. Did it bother anyone else that no one could hear the most sacred of oaths being uttered by the King? Did he dedicate his service to country and God? Why was his oath drowned out?

The screen that was wrapped around him had a tree on it with a single bird at the top. Was this an attempt at some Adam and Eve, garden of Eden tree of life that has been guarded so it could not be accessed? Do they think they can do it now?

What was the ivy leaf garland on the heads and the medieval dresses on the women? Cos-play?

I noticed women in traditional male roles.

There were little if any symbols of Christ other than the bible.

Maybe there was more to it if I had watched it in full, but it just appeared hurried and out of sync and full of "other" meanings.

The more I think about it the more it bothers me that we could not hear his oath.

Some may say I am imagining things, but I know how I feel and it's not right.
