This is basically what I finally realized. After “falling in love” over and over with mental cases, I met a beautiful, intelligent, healthy person that I admired. I wasn’t head over heels. She’s not a dime. But she’s substantial and kind. Made a conscious decision to actively love her and married her up. I can’t stand being away from her and my life and my character are both 80% better. Oh, and she’s funny. Clutch.
