Why, did he say something about me?

I'm paraphrasing here:

This life is not the whole of existence, a conclusion of all that is wrong approaches--for we are all bound to physical death. But in eternity, we can be spared (John3:14-15)

Do you feel broken down? He says comes to him and he will give you heaven's kingdom. Are you sad? He says come to him and you will be comforted. Are you feel weak when you are humble? Yours will be the earth. (matthew 5)

“He says come to him”

John 6:44 - “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him”

No one can choose to believe. People are only drawn by God.

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God

Man can only be saved through faith, and faith is not of your own doing, it is a gift from god, sent to you by the Holy Spirit

God chooses who will be saved by granting them the gift of belief, people cannot choose to be saved by choosing to believe

We are ONE with the creator, so yes, we need to reconcile with aspects of ourselves we are currently not at peace with.

Every person you meet, every plant, insect and animal, every particle, it's all you, and it's all the creator.

Human nature tends to cause us to explain that which cannot be fathomed or understood by way of a higher power or entity. I.E. God (inc. spirits), extraterrestrials, and magic.

To be an intelligent lifeform one must have questions.

It seems the answer is yes, at least until such time that the nature of humanity evolves.

Given the overall tone of the book of revelation, god seems rather pissed at much of mankind in that story

Given the overall theme of the Old and New Testaments, the idea that god loves all humans is blatantly false.

God loves those he has chosen, a repeated theme. People cannot choose to believe, faith is a gift from god, a repeated theme. Only those with belief will be saved, a repeated theme.

The only conclusion that makes sense is that most of humanity was created for the purpose of suffering so that those that god chooses for salvation can live eternally, he hates everyone else.

God is not mad at you, or me. He loves us, you and me, and all who would see that man has missed the mark and continues to miss it. Revelation 1:5-6
