It’s very hard to isolate the glutes for workout. The only thing I’ve found so far that truly works good is ankle strap with the cable machine. But it’s an incredibly annoying machine if you can’t do it while standing because your knee won’t allow it.
Glute bridges are second best but not comparable imo.
