Technically I guess the same could apply to a one eyed pirate but same question.

Seriously? No. The way to treat lazy eye it to put a patch over the good eye so that the lazy one is forced to work properly. Treatment continues until it stays at full performance.

Not looking for an argument but I think you just made the case that they COULD have one but it would be temporary and self correcting.

During this "correction" period would that thing be off kilter?

Fun factoid - pirates had 2 eyes. The patch was switched from eye to eye when moving from below deck to on deck to prevent "temporary blindness" due to light intensity change.

I did specify a one-eyed pirate.

BTW that cover your eye shit works amazing at night for those that have never tried it. I've also heard that eating blueberries can give you better night vision. (no clue if real)

What do you call a cyclops with glass?

I went to school with a kid who had a lazy eye. I asked him if he could see out of it and he became offended. Mind you we were in high school, he seemed agitated and just said "yes... dumbass" and walked away.

Should have asked him if he can see into a parallel universe with it

I wish I thought of something like that at the time; or some kind of question along the lines of "can you see dead people"?

I don't see why not , lol
