Being controlled opposition doesn't necessarily imply being fully aware of what it really implies
It may start as "well ok I can't say rude things, can't talk about israel, can't say bad words of course... Can't talk bad about sponsors... But well I still can talk about a lot of things I want to talk about and the pay is pretty good and it's a great position etc"
And then as years go by, your start to connect dots and draw conclusions you had first dismissed/overlooked, you start to see the bigger picture, and you realize that, all the things you wanted to talk about in the beginning, you did and at the same time they seem as side issues now... So you can't help it and inch by inch, day after day, you start to circle around and to get closer and flirting with that red line you know you shouldn't cross... And you cross it a bit once, twice, thrice... And one day you're fired, it's time for another young tucker carlson to take your place.
Tucker Carlson is heir to the Swanson family fortune. He literally grew up in a castle and has been going to dinner parties in these circles his entire life. Believe me, he's is fully aware his act at Fox was a con job targeting conservative proles.
What specifically is your reasoning for saying that “his act was a con job?” I understand that he there’s certain topics he would avoid and he has said some questionable things off air, but he criticized both Democrats and Republicans, did multiples segments that were fantastic on great replacement theory, and went farther and harder than any other person on TV. Just because he was limited by his employer doesn’t mean that he was somehow in on a plot to trick us. He is responsible for waking up more people than anybody else that I can think of.
I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just curious what your reasoning is for saying that
Here you go.
In any given circle you always have outliers, factions
Why even bother to be a journalist if you're a heir to the Swanson family, if you have fuckyou money already? Fake journalist on top of that/controlled opposition, "turn me into a pawn my master!". Because you're that good at being controlled oppo and because no one else can be a better pawn than you? You the heir to the Swanson family fortune...
I'm not super convinced by this narrative
