They are ass holes who have a "me first" thing going. It happens everywhere and I am told that is why some people do not use signals in some cities.
I can sense when I should signal well in advance or not. If the other driver is an asshole, signaling too far ahead will just cause them to cut you off. With assholes it's better to signal as you move so they don't have time to be an asshole. You have to be prepared to swerve if they cut you off anyway though. Always have an out.
Its always fun to watch the other drivers and think "Yeah, they are about to cut me off" then they do. Some people probably just dont think very much when ...doing anything?
Denver. You'll have space, pop your blinker on and suddenly they close the gap on you like you're trying to cut in line to a sold out movie. Even worse you're just trying to exit, then you slow and the either brake to block or the guy behind them does the same shit.
Oh god do I hate driving in that shithole when required. Make that any "large" city but yeah. Denver is horrid.
I feel like I've said this a dozen times on here already but dear God I'm glad I left that place.
Sidenote: Tucson has too many slow drivers in the fast/passing lane
