Would you be afraid? Would you make "I am not suicidal" tweets? Would you destroy the evidence and never talk about it? Would you leak the info and if so how and to where?

I work in the high tech industry and recently was out for drinks after a industry specific event. I found myself talking with a group a casual friends who all work in big tech and the subject came up about learning unpleasant things about the business practices of our employer. Just about every one got a little nervous and started talking about things that they have thought about leaking to the public but were afraid to. Most people talked about unsurprising things like "My company tracks your location and sells the data." but one person revealed one thing that kept me awake last night. They flat out said that they would never provide proof and would deny making any such claims because they would fear not just loosing their jobs but much worse. I know what this person works on and I know who she works for and the claims she made connected a few dots for me. Overall I think it was very credible... and I cannot blame her for being terrified of the knowledge she has.

As in I am not a Fed, or I am definitely a Fed?
