I would not procrastinate that desire. The world is getting weird fast, and for many of the coming scenarios being in a city is a death trap. Also the demise of the dollar will curtail your ability to transition, and that is anyone’s guess, but no one says it is far off.

All very valid. I have farms in my family that I can flee to if shtf, my biggest holdup is finding a place that I will still be able to access high speed internet so I can continue to make a living before I am forced to live off the land. I have even approached utility companies and asked if I could pay them or find someone to run fiber optic lines underground for how ever many miles are needed and was told no. Some people have suggested that I start my own internet company and provide service to the neighboring farms, but that is beyond my current know how.

Starlink. Low latency, fast data. Works anywhere. I just got notice it’s available where I’m at and will order soon.

Some are saying the show begins end of this month, maybe next. Starting with the devaluation of the dollar. Also, sliver may go nuts this week, like by the weekend.

Depending how high those metals go, I may be able to use that to get some country land. What I'd really love is a huge greenhouse that is heated by geothermal heating, and even more ambitious, going down deep enough to boil water which can be used to spin a turbine and power a generator.
