It's nice to see some sunshine a little more often, but fuck the heat and the bugs.
Took a road trip through Central and Southern Texas today. Best wildflower season I've ever witnessed. Traveling at high rates of speed across an Impressionist Canvas is a sure fire sign spring has sprung.
Fuck hay fever.
Spring is a good time.
Time to get out in the veggie garden. I started tomato and pepper plants about 4 weeks ago, then transitioned to the ground sometime after Mother's Day if weather conditions will allow.
I will plant romaine lettuce, radish and carrots in a raised bed in a couple weeks.
No I like the cold.
I'm still deep in the snow :P no spring here yet.
I am but around here the air is still annoyingly chilly for Apr. We could use some of that climate emergency fantasy.
It's not summer so I really don't care for it that much more than anything else. I still for the most part have to put full coats on and thermal pants instead of just walking out with a t-shirt and shorts and not even checking the weather.
Not my favorite season, but I'm glad the days are getting warmer and for the migratory birds coming through.
We all already know there is only one legitimate vote.
