Yes, I like to watch movies from US in English, but most are often a bit too kiked for my taste.
Also South Korean movies are great.
Apparently Kim il sung was a prolific director and producer. I would love to see those movies

Not really. Not because some of the films aren't wonderful. It's because the quality varies so widely. The last foreign film I watched was many years ago and it was about a middle-aged French guy, his work day and his mundane life. It sounds boring, but it was a cute wholesome film.
I 'member after seeing the trailer I needed to see Hardcore Henry in a theater
The [REC] movies are pretty good.
I watch foreign movies only if they're quality and worth reading subtitles or have good dubs.
Yes
Watch Korean movie called sinkhole
Man from nowhere
Great movie
Usually no. The last one I saw was Look Who's Back, a German movie about Hitler coming back to modern times and becoming a talk show host. It has Borat-style segments where the actor goes out and talks to real people, and some of them do touch upon the modern day problems Germany suffers from. I think the creators of the movie were trying to virtue signal about "muh fascist rhetoric bad" but instead have inadvertently shown why they desperately need another Adolf. I definitely recommend giving it a watch as it has several comedic parts and will also give you something to think about.
Yeah. Toni servillo is a great Italian actor. Watched some German mystery and Welsh horror recently too.
Hero (2004) is one hell of a film.
One of my favorite films is Italian. It tells the story of the crew of an Italian military ship that gets stranded off the shore of a Greek island near the end of WW2. Their radio equipment is broken and they are forced to explore the island.
Eventually it is discovered that all the fighting age Greek men of the island were conscripted into the war, leaving only the young, the elderly and women.
The Italian soldiers have different personalities and a lot of the movie is about the ways they react to their situation, with a focus on the cultural differences between Italians and Greeks at the time.
Eventually they are greeted by a Muslim who arrives in a small rowboat, and he offers the group the chance to try opium, which eventually they all do. After the Italians pass out, he steals their weapons and escapes, leaving the Italians no choice but to settle on the island and much time passes.
One day they are having a footbal match when an Italian aircraft lands on the field. The pilot informs them the war has been over for several years and they have to decide whether to stay or go home.
It sounds a bit serious, but it is mostly a comedy. The acting is great and it has a wonderful sound track. Probably the only foreign film I've watched several times and would probably watch it again as well.
