It looks like this monitor is the most real estate for the money in the $200-300 range -

However people say if you have a monitor that large it should be IPS otherwise the far edges can start to fade? Also people are suggesting a curved monitor at that size? And that monitor has a fixed height stand.

Would you just go with that monitor or would you go down in size to get IPS / curved in the $200-300 budget? Thanks!

not at all, it's just a dual monitor setup on my workbench, w/ a 3rd monitor clamped on the side at like a 45 degree angle to me. Viewing the third monitor does involve turning my head but like i said it's just for playlists music chat etc and it keeps me from having to minimize windows to change music etc
