I'm tired of getting curated results for my searches of 10 to 20 results. I'd like recommendations for an old-fashioned search engine that produces many tens of thousands of results for a simple query. Or are those days completely over?

If you're looking for something like the old altavista, no, that kind of thing is long gone.
