I have a new gas stove being delivered tomorrow. Is there anything I need to do to break it in aside from turning my hood on high and cranking the oven past 400 degrees for an hour or two?

Most of the internet seems to have tard level advice like "remove the zip ties before turning it on".

You actually want to leave all the plastic packing attached and let it catch on fire to properly dispose of it in a safe and effective manner.

The dioxin from the combustion acts as a purification agent.
