Take delivery of your precious metals. Circulated pre 1964 Roosevelt dimes are perfectly recognizable as 90% silver. And they're decently cheap to obtain. Fractional silver/gold is handy for barter. One Troy ounce of gold is a lot of gold, too much for things like a can of food. Good luck out there.
