A lot of English humor. When it came to the US, I took my wife (born and raised in NZ). The theater was mostly quiet, a few chuckles now and them. My wife was in hysterics, nearly falling out her seat laughing. The people around us were more entertained watching her than the movie.

Big disagree. I was hoping it'd be just as funny (if not funnier) than Young Frankenstein as it was by the same director and also had some of the same actors, but when I finally got around to watching it a couple of years ago it turned out to be a huge let-down. Jewy as fuck and just all-around retarded, especially near the end where it became 109% pure nonsense.
