torrents are alive and well

[–] 2 pts

Amen. I used to avoid them out of fear of my ISP shutting me down. Haven't had a problem since I started many years ago. I always disable uploading though (like a good leaching asshole), maybe that's what triggers their warning letters. Also don't torrent much, just the occasional (((movie))) to keep brainwashed.

The warnings are triggered by "the man" downloading them too. So now they have a list of IP addresses downloading a certain copywrited file. And then they send the email.

Certain parent companies are more aggressive than others. Most of mine have come from paramount. But being in Canada, the letter can be summed up thusly

"Some faggot, in another country, who ain't gonna do shit wants you to know he knows you are downloading"

I wonder how they get an email address. We never even used the one provided by the ISP.

I want to see the new Chris Rock special, a few others.

[–] 3 pts

I started watching it. Chris had a long bit about Elon Musk's cum. I'm not joking. Then he got to talking about people pretending to be victims and said the biggest people pretending to be victims were White males. At that point I figured it wasn't worth watching anymore. I didn't find anything up to that point funny either. I probably only got 15-20 minutes into it.

[–] 1 pt

That explains why the media has been fawning over it

Sounds like crap.

[–] 1 pt

That would be my assessment as well. I'm not about to wade through that bullshit in hopes of some jokes at the end. I'd rather just rewatch something like Idiocracy. I'm told "The Lives of Others" is worth watching, so that's next on my list of stuff to watch.

The part where he roasts Meghan Markle is pretty funny though.

fmovies.to

Just make sure you have uBlock Origin installed on your browser.

Blockbuster

[–] 1 pt

does it have to be streaming? Downloading it via bitterest is practically the same. Sail the high seas

Thanks. I actually just wanted to stream from my TV browser.

There are probably hundreds of clones of the same site that has pretty much every movie and TV show. hdtoday, flixhq, watchserieshd, soap2day, primewire, etc., etc. Most are Russian domains of questionable repute, so make sure you have ublock running.

Looks like bflix.to is still up and running though.

If you go to BFLIX and click thru it doesn't play the content. It seems like it's a shell with no working content links.

[–] 1 pt

Might be an issue with a specific mirror, so try a different one. Or maybe something with your browser. It works perfectly in Firefox, on my android phone and windows PC, both with ublock. Could be a lot of things. I've seen adblock filter updates randomly break things. I could only speculate.

All of the clones of that type of site use the same embedded players and stream content from them, so any others will likely have the same problems.

I'm using my TV browser. LG.
