I have one of those old pre-pay numbers where you put $10 on it and it's good for a year (assuming you don't use the minutes given by the $10, of course.) It's not my main phone anymore, but I'm not giving up the plan since you can't get it anymore and it has it's uses.
It's in a Nokia 6300 candybar phone, it will last about 1.5 weeks on standby depending on the signal strength in my area. Supports VoLTE, so no worries about the impending T-Mobile 2G sunset.
yeah, i'm looking at a nokia 2760 and 2780 right now. the 80 probably has the most features, but i'll have to order it, as opposed to the readily accessible 60.
i've had the alcatel flip and i like it, but it lags at times.
but it lags at times.
That's like the definition of Alcatel.
yeah, don't get me wrong, it is a good phone, and if I were 89, it wouldnt matter. just not enough lead in my pencil
Wow, there are still services like that, only $10 a year (assuming you don't use the minutes)? Is this in the USA?
Not any more, I think they quit offering that something like 10+ years ago. It's one of those "If you have it, it's good as long as you keep it up."
I've seen active sims with those plans sell for big bucks on resale forums.
