Hamburgers kill more people than just about anything. If people can kill themselves with hamburgers... or motor vehicles... or cigarettes... then why not heroin, fentanyl, meth or whatever else?

The real reason is because the black market drives up the price of drugs and the cartels don't want to give up control of their markets.

Legalization destroys cartels overnight.

The cartels would likely organize to form legitimate LLCs and work to corner the market on production, distribution, and marketing their now legal product.

But there would be legitimate competition because most drugs are stupid easy to make.

Some require fancy processes, it's true. Most do not.

But if everyone could sell insulin, tirzepitides, ivermectin, antifungal, antibiotics, AND stuff that gets you recreational high, without all the red tape; there'd be a sea change in who held financial capital, intellectual property and political power.

Forget drugs, for a second.

Imagine if copyright laws reset to day zero tomorrow morning. Who would lose the most money?

Imagine if you had safe nuclear reactor, desalination combos in large numbers along the coast to keep water and energy dirt cheap and reservoirs full. Who would lose the most money?

Legalizing drugs simply steals copyright protections/regulatory captures already established by the cartels.

Every community should be implementing a worldwide network of nuclear power that vapor distills sea water upwards into hydroelectric reservoir systems. Mother nature has already done 90% of the work and the Great Distraction is to prevent exactly this type of sustainable paradise.

This endeavor would naturally occur if power wasn't consolidated into the hands of evil men.

You should have taken another hit or two.

If you had studied where DMT is used, the people that have used it historically, and it's implications as being the spark of divinity, the grand elixir, you would think again before mocking it.

DMT was once hidden and secret. Used only by the highest priestly castes and shaman. But the knowledge has been spilled. What once was ours, but was abused and lost, still exists in the hands of the guardians.

Separate prisons devoted to people who have committed crimes strictly related to drugs/alcohol, that are more focused on rehabilitation and AA/NA.

All of the violent population, people convicted of theft, and those who commit environmental crimes go to a general population, more punitive prison.

Most people are completely brainwashed about opioids. Wait until you have to suffer or watch a loved one suffer. You'll see what's happened up close and personal: The drug companies "made a problem" by bribing politicians and the (((media.))) Politicians tightened the noose on painkillers via new laws and regulations. The (((media))) shows a bottle of pills next to every fentanyl/car fentanyl laced heroin/cocaine overdose. (Good luck finding a strictly oxycodone overdose, the CDC already admitted to cooking the numbers. There's always heroin, cocaine, alcohol, etc. in the toxicology reports.) God help you if your in a car accident and wake up with an amputation. You could wake up in an opioid free hospital. Sent home, no pain plan, no relief. Fuck you, thanks for paying. No shit. It's much thicker than that, but that's the jist of it. I think it should be like so: Walk into a pharmacy, ask for what you want, pay (insurance should cover ALL medical needs) and leave. All drugs, of all kinds should be legal. Zero punishment for sales, use, exc. The war on drugs was Nixon wanting to associate drug use with hippies. It's become every "law enforcement agency's" wet dream for massive amounts of income, both legal and illegal. We The People are victims of massive amounts of corruption, by the government at large, most politicians, all law enforcement agencies, the (((media))) and foreign interference via bribes across the board. Don't get hurt, you'll suffer until you die. It's no wonder to me why so many White men are committing suicide when they're in physical pain.

Legalize it ALL. Crack should be sold In a grocery store. Coca cola should have cocaine in it. Felons should be given a free gun when they step out of prison. Doctors should be completely unlicensed... Same with pilots. Money should be whateverthefuck works at that moment. Cryptographic codes are law. Etc etc.

Legalize it all.

Everyone who was in prison for drugs only, get released.

Those empty prisons get converted into usage centers for hard drugs, opiates, meth, cocaine, ect.

You can have as much as you want, but can't leave if you are high.

Should you be caught with hard drugs or high on hard drugs on the outside, you get sent there to get sober or stay high.
