I'm 4535 = 21.

Square root of (4535/10) = 21.295539439046854

I think it's the square root of your (score divided by ten).

Am I close?

You are 1211 = 11 121.1 square rooted = 11.004544515789829.

I do believe you have nailed the formula. Nice to know how it works rather than it be a black box algorithm.
