Someone loaded a live round into that gun. If it wasn't Alec, then who?

Was that bullet meant for another actor on the set?

I'd like to see the script and see who was supposed to be shot in the next scene.

I'm not ruling out that Hutchins' death was intentional, and I'm certainly not absolving Alec, as he pulled the trigger. I'm just thinking maybe that bullet wasn't meant for her, and if it wasn't, who was it meant for?

Kind of ironic. A man that hates guns, even though he makes a good living with one in his hand, may go to jail for shooting someone with a gun. ABs picture should be in the dictionary next to the word hypocrite. I hope he gets life...

The other thing that they're not talking about is that he never should have been holding a live firearm in the first place. He has a domestic violence order against him. He is not allowed to own, possess or even hold a firearm in his hands.

Which is just one more reason why they are supposed to use prop guns that have been rendered incapable of chambering and/or firing live ammo in movie productions.

Because so many actors are "prohibited persons", with either felony records, domestic violence orders, mental conditions or substance abuse problems that would prevent them from ever legally holding a firearm.
