Someone loaded a live round into that gun. If it wasn't Alec, then who?

Was that bullet meant for another actor on the set?

I'd like to see the script and see who was supposed to be shot in the next scene.

I'm not ruling out that Hutchins' death was intentional, and I'm certainly not absolving Alec, as he pulled the trigger. I'm just thinking maybe that bullet wasn't meant for her, and if it wasn't, who was it meant for?

Good point for the investigator. The sad part is that firearm does not fire without baldwin pulling the trigger and treating him 'different' because he is a hack 'actor' is absurd.

I agree. You can't just say, "It was an accident," and walk away.

If I rear-end someone in traffic, I can't just say, "It was an accident, no biggie." It may have been an accident, but someone is responsible for the accident, and should be held accountable.

Especially if you had spent your whole life talking about how you hate cars because they are dangerous and want to see private cars confiscated and destroyed.

I take it you're not a fake and gay former decathlete in your scenario.
