Someone loaded a live round into that gun. If it wasn't Alec, then who?

Was that bullet meant for another actor on the set?

I'd like to see the script and see who was supposed to be shot in the next scene.

I'm not ruling out that Hutchins' death was intentional, and I'm certainly not absolving Alec, as he pulled the trigger. I'm just thinking maybe that bullet wasn't meant for her, and if it wasn't, who was it meant for?

Bs, her Dad may have been an industry legend - but she originally wanted to be a hollywood costume/ set designer - when that failed to go anywhere, she not only rode her fathers name but iirc also failed to complete all the perquisite industry standards (such as an accredited apprenticeship). She was a diversity hire with a 'famous Dad'

She learned from the best...

Lol are you suggesting her Dad was responsible for this monumental fck up ??

She learned the job from her father.... So yes the instructor is at fault too.

Reality is he didnt specifically 'train ' her to be a professional armorer tho.

Her own description on her blog or some lame interview is something like ' i use to follow my dad around when i was little and he was always talking about guns and his work - so i grew up around it and learnt everything i know from him' - that is not actually learning how to be a professional industry standard Armorer, that is simply a dad talking to his kid about his passion.

You don't learn by osmosis. Your claim that he must have taught her because he is her dad is dumb.

It is even questionable if she can be taught to perform this function as she is a woman. Being the only person responsible for safety requires being responsible. Women are not capable of being responsible like men. I would bet anything that she still denies responisbility. In her mind it was Baldwins fault and the directors fault and the victims fault for standing in the wrong spot. That is how women think and it means they will never properly asses a situation and propertly prepare.
