Someone loaded a live round into that gun. If it wasn't Alec, then who?

Was that bullet meant for another actor on the set?

I'd like to see the script and see who was supposed to be shot in the next scene.

I'm not ruling out that Hutchins' death was intentional, and I'm certainly not absolving Alec, as he pulled the trigger. I'm just thinking maybe that bullet wasn't meant for her, and if it wasn't, who was it meant for?

Totally piss poor way to kill someone accidentally. The actor wouldn’t actually point it at the actor in a shoot to kill way. With even a slight distance maybe not even actually truly pointed at them at all.
