Bs, her Dad may have been an industry legend - but she originally wanted to be a hollywood costume/ set designer - when that failed to go anywhere, she not only rode her fathers name but iirc also failed to complete all the perquisite industry standards (such as an accredited apprenticeship). She was a diversity hire with a 'famous Dad'

She learned the job from her father.... So yes the instructor is at fault too.
Reality is he didnt specifically 'train ' her to be a professional armorer tho.
Her own description on her blog or some lame interview is something like ' i use to follow my dad around when i was little and he was always talking about guns and his work - so i grew up around it and learnt everything i know from him' - that is not actually learning how to be a professional industry standard Armorer, that is simply a dad talking to his kid about his passion.
