Yes, I'm an old white male and considered privileged. But since the United States is hell bent on paying descendants of dead people millions of dollars to right past injustices, I figured I have nothing to lose by making a claim.

But since the English paid off the capital losses incurred by freeing slaves, they can treat that money as a loan to the sons of former slaves, who, by virtue of compensation, now have money to pay this back.
